ASUS challenges the Mac Mini with Intel’s support
Intel revealed that they have partnered with ASUS for Next Unit of Compute (NUC) mini computer models. The two companies have signed an agreement that allows ASUS to produce, sell, and support Intel’s 10th to 13th generation NUC products.
With this agreement, ASUS will leave its mark on NUC mini computers and will also develop designs for future NUC computers. It is expected that the company will also improve customizable motherboards, cases, and other components for future NUC mini computers.
With the ASUS ROG Strix cooler, the compact two-slot RTX 4060 has reached the dimensions of the flagship RTX 4090 Strix.
Earlier, Intel had announced that they would stop direct investments in NUC computers. They stated their intention to focus more on processor production, and to achieve that goal, they reached an agreement with ASUS for the development of NUC computers.
Asus is getting ready to enter the market with its new mini computer models, competing primarily with the Mac Mini. As one of the strongest brands in the computer market, ASUS will demonstrate its determination in the field of mini PCs through the partnership with Intel. Moreover, there are expectations that the company will introduce a performance-focused model similar to the Mac Pro under the NUC series.
