Asus is turning heads ahead of IBC 2025 with a pair of ProArt monitors that cater to very different needs. One stretches 162 inches across and leans into cinematic scale, while the other packs professional-grade specs into a compact, lightning-fast OLED panel. Both push boundaries just in opposite directions.
OLED panel aims at creators with speed and accuracy
The new 27-inch ProArt model, officially named PA27USD, looks like a serious contender for content creators. Its Samsung-supplied QD-OLED panel delivers not only full 4K resolution but also a high refresh rate of 240 Hz, unusual for a professional monitor. Even so, speed isn’t the only standout feature.
It comes equipped with an integrated colorimeter that folds out for automatic screen calibration. This means users can maintain accurate colors without third-party tools. Moreover, support for HDR10 and HLG allows for true-to-source playback, making it well-suited for video editing and grading work.
Thunderbolt 4 (USB-C), HDMI, and DisplayPort round out the I/O options. Notably, the USB-C port supports 96 W power delivery and acts as a gateway to the built-in USB hub. As a result, this display doubles as a full docking solution for laptops.

Asus MicroLED screen brings cinema-sized ambition
On the other end of the spectrum, Asus is preparing to launch the ProArt Cinema PQ09U a 162-inch microLED display built for impact. While 1,200 nits peak brightness is somewhat conservative by microLED standards, it still holds its own thanks to perfect blacks and ultra-high contrast.
Each pixel can dim independently, resulting in exceptional depth and control over lighting in dark scenes. That’s crucial for production teams, visual effects artists, or anyone building immersive screening spaces. Additionally, the display hits 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, maintaining color fidelity at scale.
