Polestar, founded by Geely to produce cheap electric cars, is trying to enter the smartphone world. The car company, which is also actively involved in our country, shared new details for Polestar Phone. So what will this model offer?
What will Polestar Phone 1 offer?
Polestar revealed the design of its first smartphone model with a new video. The short video features a phone with a curved screen showing the Polestar 4 concept car. Although not officially announced, this device is rumored to be a rebranded version of the Meizu 21 Pro.
Previous leaks have suggested that Polestar’s first device will be the Meizu 21 Pro, manufactured by Meizu Technology. The Meizu 21 Pro featured a 6.8-inch 2K+ LTPO display with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, and a 120Hz refresh rate.
Other rumored features for the Polestar Phone include an in-display fingerprint sensor, Aicy RGB LED flash, IR blaster and IP68 water and dust certification. The phone is expected to offer the same performance as the Meizu 21 Pro and feature a VC liquid cooling system.
Although Polestar hasn’t confirmed the specifications, the new video sheds light on the Meizu 21 Pro. With the April 16 launch date, it is possible to say that Polestar will enter the smartphone world very soon.
Polestar is actually a brand that produces electric cars for the Chinese market. However, the company recently wants to show itself in Europe with models such as Polestar 4.
