Marvel Rivals director Thaddeus Sasser has come out with some sad news about the new superhero-themed shooter. Sasser commented on whether the game will come to mobile devices and the Nintendo Switch handheld console. Here are the details…
Which platforms will Marvel Rivals be released on?
According to the statement made by director Thaddeus Sasser, the popular game will unfortunately not be available on mobile devices and Switch. According to Sasser, the team will continue to focus on the versions already promised to users. PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC will be worked on to make the experience better.
Unfortunately, the company currently has no plans or plans to port Marvel Rivals to other platforms. As for the Switch’s successor, which is supposed to launch in 2025, the director did not make any comments. It is currently unclear whether the game will come to the Switch 2 console next year.
Despite the director’s statement, it is worth noting that the absence of the game in mobile versions is understandable. Because as it is known, the game appeals to high-performance next-generation consoles and powerful PCs. In this sense, adapting the game to mobile seems a bit challenging.
The highly anticipated Marvel Rivals game is still a little more than three months away from release. It is known that the NetEase Games team plans to release the game on December 6, 2024 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC platforms.
