Baldur’s Gate 3, which was named Game of the Year at Game Awards 2023, has expanded to another platform. The game, which even debuted on macOS, has finally been released for Xbox Series X/S consoles. This marks a 3-month delay from the game’s release for PS5 in September.
Baldur’s Gate 3 for Xbox Series X/S
Baldur’s Gate 3 is finally coming to Xbox following its PC and PlayStation 5 release. The game, seen as one of the best productions in the RPG world, is now available for purchase on Xbox Series X/S consoles. The price is set at 1300 TL on the Xbox Store.
The game first entered early access on PC and Stadia in October 2020. It has expanded its content over the last two years with regular updates. The full version of BG3 debuted on Windows PCs on August 30th. This meant that the Dungeons & Dragons adventure was complete and players could access the full version.

Last September, it was released on PlayStation 5 to great acclaim. Xbox owners, however, had to wait for the Baldur’s Gate experience to come to their consoles. Larian Studios cited the performance difference between Series X and S as the main reason for the delay.
The company announced that it would not be able to offer the co-op experience on Series S and said that it did not want to keep Xbox owners waiting any longer. It is thought that this feature will be offered to Series S owners through updates. The base version of the game is on sale for 1300 TL and the Digital Deluxe Edition is on sale for 1450 TL.
Baldur’s Gate 3, the newest installment of the BG series, was also named the game of the year in the past hours. It also won Best RPG, Best Community Support and Best Multiplayer awards. Neil Newbon, who voices the character of Gale in the game, received the Best Performance award.
