As game developer EA continues development on Battlefield 6, an unexpected leak has surfaced regarding the long-awaited Battle Royale mode. The leaks, apparently being tested on the game’s “BF Labs” platform, have surfaced online.
Battlefield 6 is Coming to Battlefield
Leaked footage reveals that the destructible environmental elements, one of the series’ most notable features, are also included in this mode. Furthermore, Battlefield’s core team system remains intact.

Players choose their class before the match begins and cannot change it throughout the game. Each player begins the match with two sets of equipment specific to their chosen class and gains additional advantages as they level up. For example, Assault class players can equip armor plates more quickly.
Experience points are earned both by neutralizing enemy players and by collecting Intel Crates scattered across the map. These crates grant cumulative experience points to the entire team. One of the mode’s most notable innovations is the way the playing field shrinks.
Unlike many similar games, players caught outside the circle don’t slowly take damage; instead, they are instantly eliminated. This prevents players from using infiltration tactics.
During the game, teams are assigned random missions, and rewards for these missions are dropped onto the map from the air. However, these rewards can also be claimed by other teams, increasing competition.
The main game is scheduled to release on PC and consoles on October 10th, while the Battle Royale mode’s release date is not yet confirmed. The mode is expected to be released later, based on feedback from the testing phase.
