Sony is quietly bringing the PS Store price history feature, which users have long tracked on third-party sites, to PS5 consoles. This new feature displays the lowest price of games on sale over the past 30 days.
How does the PS Store price history feature work?
Players browsing the PS Store can now see a game’s lowest price over the past 30 days. This feature currently appears to be only available on the console store. Furthermore, as of this writing, neither the web store nor the PS App have received this update yet.

This new addition is a welcome development for players. However, there are still areas for improvement. Third-party price tracking sites (like PSprices.com) display a much longer history and helpful graphics than 30 days.
While Sony isn’t expected to add complex graphics to the store, a 30-day price history is insufficient. This can be misleading, especially considering that games don’t go on sale more than once a month. Users might think a game has been at its lowest price for a long time, but that might not actually be the case. Still, this is a significant step in the right direction.
