The Bloodborne PC Remaster Project reimagines the classic, originally released for PlayStation 4, on PC. The developer is offering a significant visual improvement by fixing the low-quality long-distance mesh textures found in the original game.
What does the Bloodborne PC Remaster Project fix?
Developer ‘Fromsoftserve’ aims to elevate the emulator experience with this project. The developer is replacing the low-resolution models used to optimize PS4 performance with fully detailed versions.
In the original game, these low-quality textures were barely noticeable at 1080p resolution. However, on PC, the difference becomes very noticeable at higher resolutions. This improvement dramatically enhances the bleak beauty of Yharnam.
The current version of the project is available for download through Nexus Mods. The latest update has restored the game’s original lighting while retaining improvements such as dynamic shadows. However, the release date for these new texture fixes remains to be seen.
