The Game Awards, the most prestigious award ceremony in the gaming world, will be held on December 13th. On the night, it was revealed that 2K Games will release new trailers for Borderlands 4 and Mafia: The Old Country. New games will be presented as the last surprises of the year.

Borderlands 4, the next game in the beloved series, will feature gameplay footage and a cutscene that bridges the gap between Borderlands 3 and the new game. Developer Gearbox promised that this game will be “the most ambitious Borderlands yet”.
Gearbox tweeted, “Brace yourselves! We’re ready to raise the bar at The Game Awards. Who’s ready to get a first look at the most ambitious Borderlands game yet?” First revealed at this year’s Gamescom, Borderlands 4 will launch in 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
