The company introduced its new wireless headphones called Amped Buds, which function as headphones and a wireless power bank.

HMD showcased its new wireless headphones called Amped Buds. The most striking feature of the headphones is that the Qi2-supported charging box can charge your phone wirelessly. Thanks to its 1,600 mAh capacity box, you can provide additional power to your phone in emergency situations. The price of the brand’s new product was announced as 199 euros (approximately $206) and will be on sale in April.

Amped Buds comes with user-friendly features such as active noise cancellation (ANC) and environmental noise cancellation (ENC). In addition, it is resistant to water splashes at IP54 level and the box has an IPX4 certification. In terms of design, the headphones can be placed directly into the 14 mm thick charging box with a hinge mechanism. Thanks to the spring mechanism, the headphones fit into the box and can be removed easily.
The charging box can magnetically connect to Qi2 compatible and MagSafe supported devices. It also offers a wired charging option with a USB port. According to HMD, the box, which can charge the headphones more than 10 times, provides a total of up to 95 hours of music listening time. In short, we can say that it is a product that users can both experience music and use as a power bank in emergencies.
