According to leaked game files, the crossover will involve a cosmetics pack that lets players dress their Operators up as post-apocalyptic wasteland survivors. The “Call of Duty: Vault Dweller Tracer Pack” seems to include the iconic Fallout blue jumpsuit as a wearable along with some themed weapons.
While a Call of Duty and Fallout crossover makes sense on paper, fans are expressing some disappointment with the leaked content. Many expected more than just a simple cosmetics pack, especially given the recent hype surrounding the Fallout Amazon Prime TV series.
“I’m a fan of both franchises, but just a simple jumpsuit for my operator feels underwhelming,” said one fan. “Given the show’s popularity, I was hoping for Vault Boy or Ghoul skins.”
All four Fallout games made it to the Steam Deck charts. The series aired on Prime Video and generated a lot of interest.
