Reliable source billbil-kun has reported that Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will be released on November 14th. This date confirms the rumor shared by TheGhostofHope on X last month.
However, according to the source, a Nintendo Switch 2 version of Black Ops 7 will not be released initially. It is currently unknown whether a handheld version will be released later.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will be released on November 14th, but a Switch 2 version will not be released.
Microsoft’s announcement of a ten-year deal with Nintendo in February 2023, following its acquisition of Activision Blizzard, created anticipation in the Call of Duty community. The agreement was expected to bring the popular series to Nintendo Switch consoles.
To date, no Call of Duty game has been released for Nintendo consoles. Considering that Black Ops 7 will also be released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and that the Switch 2 is more powerful than these consoles, this latest development is likely to upset handheld console owners quite a bit.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will be available in both hard and digital versions for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S|X, with a price tag of €79.99. According to Billbil-kun, pre-orders for the game will begin on Wednesday, August 20th, immediately following Geoff Keighley’s Gamescom Opening Night Live event.
