The Camera App Will Be Completely Redesigned in iOS 19!
Apple continues to work on new updates for iOS, which is improving day by day. As the company regularly develops updates, new features to be added also come to light. According to leaked information, a completely redesigned Camera app will be introduced in the iOS 19 update. Here are the details.
A First Look at the New Camera App in iOS 19
A new piece of information has emerged about iOS 19, which is expected to be announced alongside the iPhone 17 series, still approximately nine months away. One of the standout features of iOS 19 will be the completely redesigned Camera app. Today, YouTuber Jon Prosser showcased the new Camera app in action in a video.
The redesigned Camera app is said to fully reflect the design philosophy of visionOS. While the video claims to demonstrate the app in use, no concrete evidence was shared, citing the need to protect the source. In the app’s interface, we can see “Photo” and “Video” tabs located at the bottom.
Additionally, transitions between different modes, such as exposure adjustments, will be accessible through a menu. Features like Live Photos and Flash will be accessible at the top, and a dedicated button for direct access to the Gallery app will be included within the interface.
Although the design is expected to be entirely revamped, the update appears to retain the same settings and features currently available in the existing Camera app. However, the redesign, inspired by visionOS, will make the Camera app one of the most anticipated features of iOS 19.
