Tokyo Game Show 2025 may not technically be open yet, but this year’s event has already begun with numerous teasers, including the RGG Summit and Kojima Productions’ Beyond the Strand presentation. Today, you can add Capcom’s presentation to that list. The presentation showcased a new gameplay trailer for the upcoming third-person action game Pragmata, but unfortunately, the game’s release date hasn’t been announced.
The Pragmata trailer released by Capcom shows off the safe zone you’ll use as a shelter, rest between fights, and develop your character. Upgrades will allow you to deal more damage and allow Diana to slash multiple enemies simultaneously. You’ll also be able to unlock new weapons in your shelter.
Project Pragmata Was Thought Cancelled
The trailer concludes with the previously confirmed 2026 release date. Therefore, we still don’t have a definitive release date for the game.
When Pragmata was first announced in 2020, it was a massive, mysterious project with little known about it. The project’s delays and the silence from Capcom led to theories that the game might be canceled.
While the game’s release date remains unknown, the approaching release date and the revelation that the game would be a blend of fast-paced puzzle-solving and a third-person shooter have fans excited about Pragmata once again.
