New claims have emerged about the charging technologies of Samsung’s 2026 flagship, the Galaxy S26 Ultra. According to the latest information, Samsung is preparing to introduce the long-awaited charging speed increase with this model.
Galaxy S26 Ultra charging speeds leaked
According to the leaks, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will support 60W wired and 25W wireless fast charging. This represents a significant improvement over the 45W wired and 15W wireless charging support found in the current Galaxy S25 Ultra.

Standard models also see increases
The other members of the series, the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26 Plus, are reportedly slated to offer 20W wireless charging support. However, these figures remain low compared to the faster speeds offered by Chinese competitors, and some users may be disappointed.
Reliable source Ice Universe, however, has highlighted a different issue. The Galaxy S26 Ultra will reportedly feature a larger 4mm-diameter display hole than the S25 Ultra to increase the viewing angle of the selfie camera. This means Samsung will abandon its smaller punch-hole design.
The S26 Ultra is expected to launch in mid-February, and is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor in all markets. The standard models will reportedly use the Exynos 2600 in some markets.
