ChatGPT continues to collect data from external sources. The chatbot, which already has spreadsheet and graph support, will now also support Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive. OpenAI aims to make spreadsheet analysis and visualization easier.
ChatGPT gets Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive support
ChatGPT has gained the ability to directly access files from Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive. This eliminates the need for users to download and upload the file. So you will be able to pull files directly from OneDrive or Google Drive.
In addition to simplified file access, ChatGPT will start offering interactive data tables instead of static reports. Users will be able to expand the tables for a comprehensive view of the data and ask questions directly from the table. When a new dataset is added, the analysis will be updated live.
Graphics have also been improved for the AI assistant. Accordingly, ChatGPT will now be able to create different graphic shapes such as bars and lines. It will also be possible to hover over items in these graphics and examine them in detail.
The updates will be supported by ChatGPT’s GPT-4o model recently. In this context, it should be noted that it is only available to Plus, Team and Enterprise subscribers.
Considering that OpenAI and Google are competitors in the field of artificial intelligence, Google Drive support seems interesting. However, it should not be ignored that more than 100 million people use ChatGPT regularly.
