A new one has been added to the automakers that have signed an agreement with DeepSeek. Chery Group announced a deep technical integration with local artificial intelligence company DeepSeek on intelligent large model systems. Under the new collaboration, Chery’s Lion AI smart cabin system will offer more precise voice command responses and smarter scenario execution with DeepSeek’s support. In addition, Chery’s Mojia robot will integrate DeepSeek’s models into its robot cloud platform, enabling more personalized and flexible interactions. So which models will be integrated?
Chery has deep integration with DeepSeek: Smart model to be used in new vehicles
According to reports from China, with the support of DeepSeek, the Lion AI smart cabin system will be able to more accurately understand users’ vague commands and quickly call up vehicle functions. Users will even be able to easily perform operations such as adjusting the in-car temperature, playing music or navigation with simple voice commands.

In addition, Lion AI, integrated with DeepSeek technology, will also feature proactive service capabilities. The system will be able to analyze users’ potential needs based on scenarios inside and outside the vehicle. For example, when the user gets into the vehicle, the system will automatically adjust the seat position based on the user’s habits, play the user’s favorite music, and even remind them if they have an important appointment before they reach their destination.
Chery plans to integrate the Lion AI smart cabin system integrated with DeepSeek technology into new vehicle models. It is also working to explore more potential of smart application scenarios such as vehicle metaverse and intelligent driving assistance systems. Currently, Chery’s Mojia robot has integrated DeepSeek’s V3 and R1 open source models into its robot cloud platform.
