Electric car manufacturer Polestar has launched its first smartphone, the Polestar Phone. The AI-focused flagship is based on the Meizu 21 Pro. This model marks Polestar’s official entry into the smartphone market. So what does Polestar Phone offer?

Polestar Phone, which was introduced at a launch in China, was developed in cooperation between Polestar and Meizu. Inspired by Polestar’s automotive designs, the smartphone features a simple and luxurious chassis. According to the company, the body is made of aerospace-grade aluminum. It is painted in a combination of pure white and gold colors.
Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, the device features a super linear stereo speaker. It should be noted that it is powered by a 5050mAh battery that supports 80W wired and 50W wireless fast charging. It is also available with 16 GB RAM and 1 TB internal storage.
The smartphone features a 21:9 2K+ LTPO AMOLED panel with a 91.5 percent screen-to-body ratio. The 6.79-inch display offers 2160Hz PWM dimming and 120Hz refresh rate.
The phone features a 32 Megapixel selfie camera with f/2.4 aperture on the front and a triple setup on the rear chassis. This setup consists of a 50 Megapixel main camera + 13 Megapixel ultra wide-angle camera + 10 Megapixel telephoto cameras.
The highlight of Polestar Phone will be its integration with automobiles. The device, which has an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor, will offer the ability to control the car through the application. The price of Polestar Phone, which is on sale in China, is around 1020 dollars.
