Anthropic, a major player in the artificial intelligence world, announced the addition of a brand new and useful feature to its chatbot Claude. Claude can now create and edit files based on user requests.
Claude simplifies file management
This new feature introduces the ability to instantly convert chats to different formats such as Excel, Word, or PDF. According to the company, this feature will significantly save time, especially on large projects.

This system, which can quickly analyze data and convert it into documents supported by visual tables, could become one of the most frequently used Claude features, especially by students and professionals, in the near future.
The new infrastructure is initially available to Claude Max, Team, and Enterprise subscribers. Anthropic states that Pro users will soon be able to take advantage of this feature.
Before this innovation, Anthropic had already taken a significant step regarding training models. The company asked all Claude users to confirm whether they consent to their chats being used in training the AI model by September 28th.
Anthropic, which previously didn’t use user data in model training, is now resorting to this approach because it no longer has access to new data. The company has also extended its data retention policy to five years.
This situation highlights a problem that has been discussed in the AI world for some time: the shortage of real data. The large language models that power systems like ChatGPT are largely trained with artificially generated, or synthetic, data.
