A new physical keyboard smartphone is making waves in the tech world, bringing a touch of nostalgia for BlackBerry fans. The Clicks Communicator, officially unveiled at CES 2026, aims to blend modern hardware with a communication-focused design.
What Does the Physical Keyboard Smartphone Offer?
As its name suggests, the Clicks Communicator’s main attraction is its physical QWERTY keyboard. The device runs on Android 16 and features a 4.03-inch OLED display. While the screen might seem small by today’s standards, the keyboard allows for full-screen visibility when typing messages or emails. Furthermore, it includes a 3.5mm headphone jack, a feature missing from many new models.
On the camera front, the Clicks Communicator is equipped with a 24-megapixel front camera and a powerful 50-megapixel main camera on the back. The device is powered by a 4,000 mAh silicon-carbon battery and doesn’t skimp on security. In a clever design choice, the fingerprint sensor is integrated directly into the spacebar. The phone also offers swappable back covers and is priced at $500 internationally.

More Than a Phone: The “Power Keyboard” Accessory
In addition to the Communicator, Clicks also introduced a highly practical accessory. Called the “Power Keyboard,” this external keyboard is designed for other smartphones. It is compatible with both iOS and Android devices, connecting wirelessly via MagSafe/Qi2 technology. Moreover, it packs its own 2,150 mAh battery, extending the battery life of the connected phone.
