A wave of nostalgia is sweeping the tech world with the official launch of the Clicks Communicator, a new physical keyboard smartphone, at CES 2026. This device aims to satisfy the longing of BlackBerry enthusiasts, standing out with its modern hardware and a strong focus on communication.
What Does This Physical Keyboard Smartphone Offer?
As its name suggests, the Clicks Communicator’s main feature is its physical QWERTY keyboard. The device runs on Android 16 and features a 4.03-inch OLED display. While this screen might seem small by today’s standards, the physical keyboard allows for full-screen viewing while typing messages or emails. Additionally, it includes a 3.5mm headphone jack, a feature missing from many new models.
In terms of cameras, the Clicks Communicator is equipped with a 24-megapixel front camera and a powerful 50-megapixel main camera on the back. The device is powered by a 4,000 mAh silicon-carbon battery and doesn’t compromise on security. In a clever design choice, the fingerprint sensor is integrated directly into the keyboard’s spacebar. The phone, which offers interchangeable back covers, has been announced with an international price of $500.

More Than a Phone: The Power Keyboard Accessory
Alongside the Communicator, Clicks also introduced a highly practical accessory. Called the ‘Power Keyboard,’ this external keyboard is designed for other smartphones. It is compatible with both iOS and Android devices, connecting wirelessly via MagSafe/Qi2 technology. Moreover, it contains its own internal 2,150 mAh battery, extending the battery life of the phone it’s connected to.
