Samsung, one of the successful players in the smartphone market, is counting down to the launch of the highly anticipated Galaxy S25 series. The models are expected to be unveiled at an event next month, and recent reports have revealed new details about the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
Galaxy S25 Ultra to Stand Out with Durability
Renowned industry leaker Ice Universe has stated that the upcoming Galaxy S25 Ultra will feature Gorilla Glass Armor 2 technology. This suggests that the smartphone will be even more durable than its predecessor, the Galaxy S24 Ultra, which used the first-generation Gorilla Glass Armor technology.
Thanks to previously shared reports, most of the phone’s details are already known. It is expected to feature a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x display with a resolution of 3,120 x 1,440 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate.
While the Galaxy S25 Ultra grabs attention, there seems to be less favorable news for those awaiting the Galaxy S25 Slim. Samsung’s plans regarding this model remain unclear, leaving fans disappointed.
Sources claim the Galaxy S25 Ultra will use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. However, Samsung is unlikely to abandon its in-house Exynos 2500 chip, which may be included in certain regions. It’s worth noting that the Qualcomm chipset is expected to dominate the majority of markets. The series is likely to be launched on January 22.
