The countdown has begun for Samsung’s long-delayed One UI 7 interface. The South Korean brand, which started testing the update with the Galaxy S24 series on December 5, is preparing to expand the beta program to a wider range of devices. Recent reports suggest that three more models will soon be included in the beta process.
One UI 7 Beta Tests to Launch for the Galaxy S23 Series
Samsung has officially started preparations to bring the One UI 7 beta program, first initiated with the Galaxy S24 series, to the Galaxy S23 lineup. Users who participate in the beta program will get early access to the new features and design changes of the interface. They will also have the opportunity to report any system issues to Samsung.
Although there’s no specific date yet for when the Galaxy S23 series will join the beta process, reliable sources indicate that this will happen in the second phase of testing. The first phase began with the Galaxy S24 models in countries like Germany, South Korea, the United Kingdom, and the United States. As of December 16, users in India and Poland are also expected to join the testing program.
Considering these details, beta testing for the Galaxy S23 models is expected to begin in two to three weeks. However, the testing process will likely be conducted in the same countries as before.
Meanwhile, the excitement surrounding the stable version continues to grow. Although Samsung has not provided a definite date, the stable One UI 7 update is expected to roll out alongside the launch of the Galaxy S25 series on January 22.
