The countdown has begun for the Redmi K70 series, which Xiaomi is preparing to introduce to users in the coming months. There has been a development that will excite users about the series, which is expected to include three models: K70, K70 Pro, and K70e.
A phone belonging to the Redmi K70 series appeared at the MediaTek event
It is not customary for smartphone companies to show live products that have not yet been introduced. However, this seems to have changed especially recently. Because Xiaomi recently unveiled a phone belonging to the upcoming Redmi K70 series at the MediaTek event.
When we look at the images shared from the event, we can say that the smartphone has a perforated front panel with narrow bezels and a high screen-to-body ratio. However, unfortunately, there are no images of the rear panel of the device yet.
It is necessary to draw attention to a critical detail here. As it is known, Dimensity 9300 was introduced at the event where the phone was shown. So, this is a MediaTek event, and in the K60 series introduced last year, only the K60e model used the chip of this semiconductor company. Standard and Pro models appeared before users with Qualcomm’s chips. So in this case, we can say that the phone in question is most likely the K70e.
According to information from sources close to the company, the Redmi K70 will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, and the K70 Pro will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. There are no clear details about the launch yet, but according to Digital Chat Station, which comes to the fore with its leaks, the promotion will be held this month.
