Xiaomi continues its efforts in the tablet market. The Chinese company is currently focusing heavily on the upcoming Pad 7S Pro. Expected to launch later this month, the tablet’s design and some of its key specifications have now been confirmed.
What will the Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro offer?
One of the standout features of the Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro is that it will be powered by the Xring O1 chipset, the same processor used in the recently announced Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra. As known, the brand surprised users recently by unveiling its own in-house chip.

The tablet will feature a 12.5-inch LCD display and pack a 12,160mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging. It will run HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15, offering a PC-like software experience.
In addition to support for the Xiaomi Pen, the device will have a slim profile, measuring just 5.8mm thick. While the full specs have yet to be revealed, the Pad 7S Pro is expected to directly rival Apple’s iPad Air lineup.
Leaked images reveal a premium metal body with rounded corners and slim bezels on all four sides. Like the Pad 7 Ultra, it will also launch with a new keyboard accessory featuring a high-precision metal hinge for added stability and a large built-in trackpad to deliver a laptop-like experience.
