Xiaomi continues to work on the POCO F7 series, which focuses on price-performance balance. The smartphones have received numerous certifications so far, indicating that users won’t have to wait long for their official unveiling. The latest developments reveal that the POCO F7 Pro has crossed an important milestone.
POCO F7 Pro Receives NBTC Certification
Earlier this month, the POCO F7 Pro and F7 Ultra were certified by the SDPPI certification platform, listed under the model numbers 24117RK2CG and 24122RKC7G, respectively. Now, reports indicate that the F7 Pro has appeared in the NBTC certification database. This suggests that the device could launch sooner than expected.

The previous model, the POCO F6 Pro, was listed in the NBTC database in March 2024 and was released in May. Based on a similar timeline, the POCO F7 Pro is expected to be introduced around late March or April 2025.
Leaks suggest that the F7 Pro and F7 Ultra could be rebranded versions of the Redmi K80 and K80 Pro, which were launched in China in November 2024. If this is the case, the F7 Pro is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, while the Ultra model could come with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.
Meanwhile, the standard POCO F7 will likely be a rebranded version of the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, which is expected to launch in China in April 2025. As a result, the device could come with a Snapdragon 8s Elite chipset, a 1.5K OLED display, and a 7,500 mAh battery with 90W fast charging support.
