Crimson Desert System Requirements Officially Announced

Pearl Abyss has unveiled the system requirements for Crimson Desert. The game mandates 16 GB of RAM and 150 GB of SSD storage across all hardware tiers.

The countdown has begun for Crimson Desert, the highly anticipated massive open-world action-adventure game developed by Pearl Abyss using their proprietary BlackSpace Engine. Today, the official system requirements for Crimson Desert have been released.

Set to launch simultaneously on March 19, 2026, for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Mac platforms, the final PC and console specifications highlight both exciting surprises and demanding conditions. Known for its stunning visual quality and vast open world, the game sets a high bar for hardware.

16 GB RAM is the New Minimum Baseline

The most striking detail in the hardware lists is that the core system requirements remain constant regardless of graphics settings. To play the game smoothly even at minimum settings, a minimum of 16 GB of RAM is strictly required.

Furthermore, due to its massive map, high-resolution textures, and seamless structure with no loading screens, Pearl Abyss has completely phased out traditional Hard Disk Drives (HDDs). An SSD with 150 GB of free space is mandatory to ensure the game functions and textures load without delay.
