OPPO has been working hard to expand its presence in the foldable phone market, and the countdown for the highly anticipated Find N5 model has begun. The device, which has already appeared in performance tests and had some key features revealed, is now making headlines again with new developments.
OPPO Find N5 to Surpass iPad Pro M4 in Thinness
It’s no surprise that mobile devices are becoming thinner by the day, and the upcoming OPPO Find N5 will be a prime example of this trend. Recently, OPPO’s Overseas Marketing President, Billy Zhang, shared new insights highlighting the foldable phone’s sleek design.

In his post, Zhang compared the upcoming model to the ultra-thin iPad Pro M4. Reports suggest that when unfolded, the Find N5 will be approximately 4mm thick, making it the world’s thinnest foldable phone. This revelation has significantly heightened expectations for the device.
OPPO has also confirmed that the Find N5 will feature wireless charging, a feature absent in its 2023 predecessor. The new model will use a special ultra-thin charging coil that measures just 0.18mm—thinner than the standard 0.3mm coils—enabling 50W wireless charging.
The Find N5 recently appeared on Geekbench under the model number PKH110, achieving 3,083 points in single-core and 8,865 points in multi-core tests. According to the Geekbench database, the foldable phone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. It will also come with 16GB of RAM and run Android 15 out of the box.
Previous reports indicate that the device will feature a 6.4-inch external display, while the main screen will be an 8-inch panel with a 2K resolution. Both displays will support a 120Hz refresh rate.
Powering the Find N5 will be a 5,700mAh battery with 80W wired charging support. Additionally, the device is expected to offer up to 1TB of internal storage. On the back, it will house a triple-camera setup consisting of a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP telephoto lens. However, details about the front camera remain undisclosed.
OPPO has officially confirmed that the Find N5 will debut in China in February 2025. Meanwhile, the foldable phone is expected to launch globally as the OnePlus Open 2 during the first half of 2025.
