With Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event on July 9 just days away, a European energy label that is said to belong to the Galaxy Z Fold 7 has been leaked. The document, which is located in the EPREL (European Product Registry for Energy Labelling) database, reveals many details about the foldable phone, from its battery life to its durability.
The countdown has begun for the Galaxy Z Fold 7
According to the leak, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 comes with a 4,400 mAh battery. The label states that the device offers 40 hours and 28 minutes of usage on a single charge and retains 80% of its battery capacity after 2,000 charging cycles. The model, which is evaluated as Class B in terms of energy efficiency, is stated to maintain good power management with its Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and One UI 8.0 software.

The model stands out by receiving Class A in impact resistance. The phone, which is 8.9 mm thick when folded and 4.2 mm when open, is among the thinnest foldable models to date. However, in terms of water and dust resistance, it is limited to the same IP48 certification as the Galaxy Z Fold 6. We can say that this situation caused the vivo X Fold 5 to fall behind the IP59 certification.
The repair difficulty was evaluated as class C, which points to the complexities brought by its foldable structure.
In addition to the Z Fold 7, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Watch 8 models are expected to be showcased at the Galaxy Unpacked event to be held in New York on July 9. In addition, the first clues about Samsung’s long-talked-about tri-fold phone may also be included in the event.
