There were rumors that Apple would use OLED display technology for the first time in its upcoming new iPad and iPad Pro models. However, there were also opinions opposing these claims. According to the latest developments , the lines of code in the iPadOS 17.5 Beta update have strengthened the OLED screen rumors.
In the source codes of the latest update, it is stated that the new iPad Pro will have a different, more advanced display technology than its predecessors. This screen technology, as you can guess, is OLED panel. Unfortunately, there is no information about the standard iPad in the code lines.
According to the lines of code, four different options are expected to be offered for the new iPad Pro . It is said that the differentiation of these models will be in terms of screen sizes ( 11 inches and 12.9 inches ) and connection types ( Wi-Fi and Cellular ).
According to previously leaked information, two major companies are involved in screen production for the new iPad Pro models. While the 12.9-inch screens will be produced by LG , the 11-inch screens will be produced by both Samsung and LG .
