The tech world is going through some busy days. As leaks about Google’s new mid-range phone, Pixel 9a, continue to emerge, the device’s launch date is also approaching. So, what innovations will this model bring? Here are all the leaked details about Google Pixel 9a…
Google Pixel 9a is coming with a larger screen and a powerful battery
The launch of Google’s new generation budget-friendly smartphone, Pixel 9a, is just around the corner. According to leaked information, the device will feature a larger screen and a more powerful battery compared to its predecessors.

Unlike previous models, Google Pixel 9a will come with a 6.3-inch display. This means it will offer a larger screen experience compared to the 6.1-inch panels of the Pixel 6a, 7a, and 8a. Additionally, Google is abandoning the distinctive camera bar design that started with the Pixel 6.
Powered by the Tensor G4 processor, which is also used in the Pixel 9 series, the device will be supported by 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM. Storage options have been set at 128 GB and 256 GB.
One of the most notable upgrades of the phone will be its battery. The device’s battery capacity is increasing from 4,492 mAh to 5,100 mAh. Additionally, wireless charging support will also be available to users.
On the camera side, there will be a 48-megapixel main camera and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. While the megapixel values may seem slightly lower compared to previous models, there is no definitive information about the sensor quality yet. On the front, a 13-megapixel selfie camera will be featured.
Looking at the extra features, the device will offer IP68 certification for water and dust resistance, satellite communication support for emergencies, Bluetooth 6 and Wi-Fi 6E connectivity, NFC, and dual SIM support.
As for pricing, leaked information suggests that the Google Pixel 9a will be priced at 499 euros for the 128 GB model and 599 euros for the 256 GB model in Europe. These figures are almost identical to the launch price of the Pixel 8a.
