Samsung continues to roll out patches to enhance user security. The South Korean brand has recently released the December 2024 update for three of its devices. So, which models are receiving the new patch, and what does it bring?
Samsung Releases December 2024 Patch for Three Devices
The latest models to receive Samsung’s December 2024 update are the Galaxy Tab S10+ 5G, Tab S9 FE 5G, and Tab S9+ 5G. The update, with build numbers X828USQU2AXK8, X518USQS8BXK6, and X818USQU5BXKC, is currently limited to devices in the US. However, it is expected to expand to more countries in the coming days. Additionally, the patch addresses over 45 security vulnerabilities.
If the update notification hasn’t appeared on your device automatically, you can manually upgrade by navigating to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. If the update still doesn’t show up after following these steps, it might not have reached your region yet, so you may need to wait a bit longer.
