CD Projekt RED has announced a new collaboration with Scopely, one of the strongest players in the mobile gaming industry. The Poland-based game studio, known for big productions such as The Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077, announced that they will develop a new game based on a work by CD Projekt RED with this partnership. Although details about the project have not yet been shared, it is estimated that the game will be for the mobile platform.
Cyberpunk’s mobile game is coming
Scopely had recently attracted attention by purchasing Niantic’s game department. With this move, Scopely also became the owner of a production that shaped the mobile game industry such as Pokemon GO.

The first question that came to mind after this development was whether the new game will be linked to Cyberpunk 2077. Especially considering Scopely’s experience with Pokemon GO, it seems quite likely that we will see an augmented reality-based Cyberpunk game.
In a futuristic city adorned with neon lights, the characters and locations unique to the Cyberpunk universe coming to life on the mobile platform has already created excitement among the players. Scopely had previously achieved great success in the mobile gaming world with Monopoly GO.
While it remains unclear what kind of project this new collaboration with CD Projekt RED will result in, it is predicted that the game will combine the strengths of both companies and appeal to a large audience.
