Update 1.03.57820 has arrived for Darkest Dungeon II, and here are the patch notes. The game has been around for a few days, and looks like it’s receiving another update. FIXES
- Fixed crusader lighting on sword pop when using ‘Reap’ ability
- Fixed hero ribbon positions not being centered after loading with less than four heroes
- Adjusted Relationship modifier text to better fit on the screen
- Adjusted gamepad controls to block other inputs while reposition hero ribbons
- Fixed z-fighting on Chirurgeon’s shadow plane
- Fix to max torch changes from biome modifiers not working on load (ie. Heavy Winds region modifier not appropriately capping max flame)
- Fixed tutorial archive not hotswapping description when switching between input devices
- Fixed character sheet overlapping path UI in 16:10 ratio
- Fix to story choice handling of no valid story choices and just continuing run
- Story choices now try and generate each tag on each actor to fix issue where there were none or too few story choices in shambler_altar
- Fixed death presentation and removed Deathblow stamp for Spiked Barricade and Weapon Rack
- Fixed text entry jumping around during pet renaming
- Fixed previously completed quests not awarding the profile achievement properly
- Fixed overstress presentation from causing character to bloom during zoom-in while fighting death
- Fixed missing skill name for Tropaeum combat item
- Fixed title spacing in Italian when creating a new profile
- Fixed wrong string_id for Warlord Node Exit Barks
- Fixed an issue where Blind was not being properly ignored by Exultation during the Cowardice Confession Boss
- Adjusted DMG of the Duelist Spectre’s Regression skill down slightly
- Duelist Spectre’s Regression skill now moves the Spectre to rank 1
- Target conditions for Illumination have been removed to allow for Taproot tagging and greater use of On Hit effects from trinkets
- Fixed some ukrainian characters not showing on hero ribbons
- Additional animation and vfx polish
