Samsung continues its efforts in the foldable phone market. As part of this, the South Korean brand is set to introduce the Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 models very soon. According to reports shared so far, both devices are expected to come with significant upgrades compared to their predecessors. So, when will the new models be unveiled? Recent developments shed light on this question.
When will the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 be introduced?
According to reliable industry sources, the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 models will be unveiled in the first week of July. For reference, the previous models, the Z Fold 6 and Flip 6, were launched on July 10, 2024. Based on this, it’s likely that the new devices will be announced before July 10.

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 is expected to feature a 4-inch cover display and a 6.85-inch foldable inner display. On the outside, it may sport a dual camera setup with 50 MP + 12 MP sensors, while the inner side could have a 12 MP selfie camera. The device is also expected to come with a 4,300 mAh battery and support 25W fast charging.
The Galaxy Z Fold 7, on the other hand, is expected to feature a 6.5-inch cover display and an 8.2-inch foldable inner display. It may include a 200 MP main camera, a 12 MP ultra-wide camera, and a 10 MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. The cover screen could house a 12 MP selfie camera, while the inner screen is expected to have an improved under-display camera. The Fold 7 may be equipped with a 4,400 mAh battery and support 25W fast charging.
Both phones are expected to launch with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy (also known as Snapdragon 8 Elite), at least 12 GB of RAM, and a minimum of 256 GB of storage. They are also said to feature IP48 certification, stereo speakers, and a USB Type-C port.
