One of the successful players in the smartphone market, Samsung, is set to unveil the highly anticipated Galaxy S25 series to users on January 22. Numerous leaks about the new models have surfaced to date, giving us a good idea of what to expect. The latest developments shed light on the performance test results of the Galaxy S25+ model.
Galaxy S25+ Performance Test with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite
The Galaxy S25+ appeared in the Geekbench database with the model number SM-S936B. The smartphone managed to score 2,721 in single-core tests and 9,435 in multi-core tests. These results indirectly confirm some of its specifications.
As known, this is not the first appearance of the Galaxy S25+ in performance tests. Last month, the smartphone was also tested with the Exynos 2500 processor on Geekbench, scoring 2,358 in single-core and 8,211 in multi-core tests.
When comparing the Exynos 2500 and Snapdragon 8 Elite variants of the S25+ on paper, it’s clear that there is a significant performance gap. In past years, rumors also suggested a noticeable performance difference between the Exynos and Qualcomm versions of the series.
Fortunately, this recent development largely confirms reports that the South Korean brand will focus more on the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip in the series.
