The countdown for Xiaomi’s new flagship models has begun. The Xiaomi 15 series is expected to be introduced on October 23 in China, and after a few months, it will be released in global markets. Recent reports reveal an exciting detail about the upcoming series.
Xiaomi 15 global version spotted in IMEI database
The global version of the Xiaomi 15 has appeared in the IMEI database with the model number 24129PN74G. While this development doesn’t reveal the global launch date or any specific features of the smartphone, it does indicate that users won’t have to wait much longer.
Based on the company’s past strategies, it can be expected that both the standard and Ultra models of the Xiaomi 15 series will be available globally. The Pro model, however, will likely remain exclusive to China, as was the case with the Xiaomi 14 Pro.
Although not confirmed, reliable industry sources suggest that the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Ultra will be showcased at the Mobile World Congress (MWC), which is scheduled to take place between March 3-6, 2025. However, there are also reports indicating that the devices might be launched earlier.
