OPPO has announced that its highly anticipated new flagship, the Find X9 series, will be officially unveiled on October 16th. According to information shared through the company’s official channels, the new series, consisting of the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro, stand out with their refreshed design, advanced imaging capabilities, and significant improvements in battery technology. Here are the details.
The OPPO Find X9 series is coming
The Find X9 and Find X9 Pro feature flat displays with symmetrical, extremely thin bezels. The models come with 6.59-inch and 6.78-inch displays, respectively, for a comfortable grip. The back of the devices is coated with a special surface called “velvet sand,” providing both an elegant texture and a soft grip.
The lens module seamlessly blends with the back panel using “cold carving” technology, creating a smooth surface. Prioritizing eye health, OPPO enhances the user experience with a 1-nit eye protection mode supported in all apps and a 3840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming feature that reduces eye strain.
OPPO has revealed the series’ rear design for the first time and confirmed its color options. The devices will be available in four different shades: Velvet Sand Titanium, Velvet Light Titanium, Frost White, and Mist Black.
The highlight of the camera is the quad-camera system, developed in partnership with Hasselblad. This compact, square-shaped camera module is designed to capture more light without increasing its size.
Powering the series is the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 platform, featuring a 3nm process. This new chipset includes a redesigned CPU, G1-Ultra GPU, and Imagiq 1190 image processor. OPPO also introduced the new Tidal Engine software layer to optimize efficiency and performance.
The company has made significant battery improvements, confirming that the Find X9 will feature a 7,025 mAh battery, while the Find X9 Pro will feature a 7,500 mAh battery. Both models will support 80W wired and 50W wireless fast charging.
The global launch is slated for October 28th.
