Tens of thousands of Twitter users say they couldn’t reach the platform due to a sudden access problem that started today. The issue affected both mobile and browser users. Did Twitter down? A statement on the matter is awaited from the company.

Did Twitter down? Some problems started on platform today. Within 2 hours, these problems grew. Currently, both mobile and browser users can’t login to the app. Some users said they were able to access but the homepage wasn’t refresing and the comments were not visible.
According to Downdetector data, platform is down since 8:05AM ET. We also see that the feedbacks from the users are reflected here. In addition, we see the problem is not happening only in the US. It’s affecting all over the world. Company hasn’t make a statement yet.
The platform had a similar problem in the past months. For example, platform was down twice in a week in February. Users was unable to access the service in parts of the US due to a technical bug that was preventing timelines from loading and Tweets from posting.
