A team of Humble Bundle veterans has just launched Digiphile, a new digital storefront that blends curated discovery, ethical game distribution, and charitable giving. The platform’s first collection—Return of the Immersive Sim—is live now and supports the Arbor Day Foundation.
Digiphile puts curation before algorithms

Unlike algorithm-heavy storefronts, Digiphile is pitched as a people-first discovery platform. Each bundle is a limited-time event, carefully assembled by trusted voices in specific genres. According to co-founder Alex Hill, the focus is on spotlighting what’s “worth playing right now” while keeping creators, players, and publishers in the loop.
The platform isn’t a marketplace with a persistent store. Instead, it’s built around rotating premium bundles, with a clear goal: intentional discovery over volume sales.
Key features that set Digiphile apart
Digiphile is taking on long-standing frustrations in the bundle space. Here’s what it offers:
- 75% revenue share to publishers
- 5% of every sale goes to charity
- 100% revenue on DLC (minus processing fees)
- The Digiphile Exchange, a system to trade unused game keys for credit
- Curated bundles only, no always-on store clutter
The Digiphile Exchange is especially notable. Instead of letting spare keys sit unused, players can trade in duplicates for credits toward future collections—keeping engagement up and key waste down, a win for both players and studios.
Built for devs and communities not just growth
The team behind Digiphile includes former leads from Humble’s Game Bundles, Choice, and Storefront divisions. Co-founder Marcus Hess describes the platform’s ethos as one that values trust and sustainability over aggressive growth.
“We don’t mind doing fewer things if it means doing them well,” says Hill. “Growth doesn’t always equal success.”
Digiphile aims to remain independent long-term, acting as both a bundle platform and a community hub—a place for fans to discuss, trade, and celebrate the games they love.
First bundle celebrates the immersive sim
The debut collection, Return of the Immersive Sim, features genre staples like:
- System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster
- Shadows of Doubt
- CTRL ALT EGO
- Perepiteia
All proceeds support the Arbor Day Foundation, underscoring Digiphile’s mission to tie meaningful content to charitable impact.
With a smart trade-in system, genre-focused bundles, and a team that knows how to balance player trust with publisher value, Digiphile might just be the next big name in thoughtful game discovery—without selling out the community to get there.
