Disney+ has increased its subscription prices in the United States. This price increase will begin on October 21, 2025. The monthly price of an ad-supported subscription has increased by $2, reaching $12, and the price of a Premium subscription has increased by $3, reaching $19.
Disney+ subscription prices are rising
The increases are between 10 and 15 percent. These price increases follow recent controversies and calls for boycotts against the platform.

This price increase, currently in effect in the US, is expected to be implemented globally towards the end of the year or early in the new year. Current subscription prices in Turkey are 164.90 TL for an ad-supported subscription and 349.90 TL for a Premium subscription.
It is not yet clear when and by how much the platform will increase its subscription prices in Turkey. However, the three-month discounted campaign terms offered for ad-supported subscriptions in Turkey hint at a potential increase.
The terms of the campaign state that the subscription will continue at 249.90 TL per month after the discount period ends. This suggests a potential increase of around 50 percent compared to the current price of 164.90 TL. A potential global wave of price hikes will also significantly impact subscription prices in Turkey.
Disney+’s move highlights a general trend across the streaming service industry. Due to rising content costs and the competitive landscape, most digital streaming platforms are increasing their prices to increase profitability.
