Xiaomi officially begins the distribution of the HyperOS, unveiled at the end of last month. The new version promises significant improvements over the MIUI interface, providing a more stable and efficient user experience.
HyperOS 1.0 update is in testing phase for POCO F4
According to Xiaomiui’s report, the HyperOS 1.0 update is currently in the testing phase for the POCO F4 and will soon be released. Although the exact release date for the new version with build number OS-23.11.8 is currently uncertain, reports suggest it will be available in the second quarter of 2024.
Xiaomi HyperOS introduces various enhancements, including new clock styles, fonts, wallpapers, and widgets for greater customization on the lock screen. The control center features a cleaner and more modern design compared to the previous MIUI 14 version. While application icons remain similar, overall consistency appears to have improved.
Another notable detail with the new release is the amount of space Xiaomi HyperOS will occupy on phones. The company claims the build is around 8.75 GB, providing a significant advantage in terms of storage compared to competitors.
HyperOS is expected to consume less power and operate more comfortably on devices with lower memory compared to its predecessors. This opens up possibilities, especially for Xiaomi’s older products and those with hardware limitations.
