DJI, a leader in the drone market, is now preparing to enter the mirrorless camera market. Until now, the company has been known for its video-focused cameras. According to recent rumors, DJI’s new move will soon lead to a major announcement.
DJI has developed a mirrorless camera
According to leaks, it is designing a mirrorless camera based on an L-bayonet lens system and featuring a full-frame sensor. This move will create significant competition in a market dominated by Japanese manufacturers. The camera’s design is not yet known, but DJI’s experience in this market suggests it will develop a model that will stand out, particularly for its video capabilities and technological innovations.

Meanwhile, another model that has recently invigorated the camera market is the Hasselblad X2D II 100C. Featuring a 100-megapixel medium-format sensor, this camera offers 16-bit RAW images and up to 15.3 stops of dynamic range.
Hasselblad’s first model to feature continuous autofocus, the X2D II 100C, enhances autofocus performance thanks to its front-facing LiDAR. The device offers HDR imaging on its 3.6-inch touchscreen OLED and comes with 1 TB of internal storage.
The camera, which boasts up to 10 stops of image stabilization, launched with a price tag of $7,400. DJI’s new mirrorless camera will take market competition to the next level following Hasselblad’s innovative move.
