The DJI Osmo Pocket 4 is inching closer to release, and a new leak confirms dual sensors while shutting down speculation about a second screen.
DJI Osmo Pocket 4 leak confirms dual-camera setup

Leaks from Photorabz reveal that the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 will feature two sensors. The main camera is expected to use the same 1-inch, 50 MP sensor with variable aperture found in the Action 6. That’s a significant upgrade over previous Pocket models, especially for users focused on image quality in low light.
The second sensor appears to be a 1/1.3-inch unit, likely square in format. That choice hints at native support for vertical shooting, which continues to be a priority for social-first creators.
Second screen rumors take a hit
Initial leaks suggested a possible dual-screen setup. However, this new report says that the device will only have one usable screen. The second display, spotted in earlier renders, may simply be used for system settings or status indicators not for previewing shots or framing.
This design choice simplifies the hardware while keeping the form factor compact.
Battery life reportedly gets a boost
The Pocket 4 is said to include a battery upgrade that extends video recording times by about 20%. That gain comes despite a more powerful main sensor and what appears to be a larger primary display.
Here’s what’s likely behind the battery bump:
- More efficient internal components
- Revised battery pack, possibly over 20% larger
- Improved power management algorithms
Even so, leakers say the camera will still be smaller and lighter than its predecessor, the Pocket 3.
DJI Osmo Pocket 4 release timing still uncertain
The DJI Osmo Pocket 4 is currently expected to launch sometime in December, but trade tensions may delay the rollout. With an FCC ban on DJI products set to take effect in the U.S. on December 23, 2025, the camera’s debut could slip into early 2026.
So while specs are firming up, the release window remains in flux.
A compact camera built for creators if it makes it out
With powerful dual sensors, better battery life, and a streamlined design, the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 looks like a real upgrade if it arrives before regulatory issues block its release.
