The Trump Organization, owned by US President Donald Trump, has taken a new step in the field of mobile communications. The company has introduced a mobile phone plan called “Trump Mobile” and a smartphone called “T1”. The introduced phone and service are planned to be released in September.
Trump is officially establishing his own mobile operator brand
The new mobile service is offered under the name “The 47 Plan”. The 47 refers to Trump being the 47th president of the US in his current capacity. The monthly fee of the plan has been set at $47.45 to reflect this figure. The plan includes unlimited talk, text and data rights.

The T1 model, which will be offered for sale under Trump Mobile, has a gold-colored metal case. The American flag is embroidered on the case. The promotional images of the device also include the slogan “Make America Great Again”, which Trump frequently uses.
The phone has the Android 15 operating system. Its specifications include a 6.8-inch AMOLED display, a 16-megapixel front camera, a 50-megapixel main camera, 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage.

The initiative is the latest in a series of brand partnerships that Trump has made using his position as president in the business world. Similar licensing deals have been made in the past for products such as watches, shoes, and the Bible.
These licensed products bearing Trump’s name have sparked ethical debates in the past. However, the president and his family continue such commercial ventures. In a public statement on Friday, it was reported that Trump earned more than $8 million in revenue from licensing deals alone in 2024.
The new plan is higher than similar services offered by major carriers in the US. For example, Verizon’s affordable service Visible offers unlimited talk, text, data, and hotspot access for $25 per month. Mint Mobile’s unlimited plan, which requires an annual subscription, costs $30 per month.
According to Trump Mobile’s website, the service offers “the same coverage as the three major mobile carriers nationwide” and customer service is based in the United States. However, an agent who answered the customer line on Monday morning declined to provide information about the exact location of the call center “for security reasons.”
Verizon, T-Mobile and AT&T, the three major mobile carriers in the United States, have not yet responded to requests for comment on the Trump Organization’s new mobile initiative. What do you think about it? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.
