Netflix is preparing to offer a new generation user experience on television screens. The updated TV interface introduced at the event draws attention with its simplified design and improved content recommendation infrastructure. It was announced that the new interface will be offered to all users in the coming weeks.
Netflix is making a design change
In the new system, definitions such as “Emmy Award-Winning” or “Number 1 Among Series” were added under the content titles to facilitate the decision-making process of users regarding content. It was stated that thanks to this information, users will be able to choose the productions that interest them more quickly.

The “Search” and “My List” shortcuts, previously located on the left corner of the screen, are being moved to the top of the page in order to facilitate user access. It was stated that these menus have thus become more visible.
The recommendation algorithm on the Netflix homepage is also being updated. The new system will be more sensitive to user habits and will offer more accurate results according to their interests. In addition, the platform’s home screen has been renewed with a simpler and more modern design. This new look will make the user experience more fluid.
Innovations will be made not only for televisions but also for mobile devices. Netflix is preparing to test a new beta app that integrates generative AI into its mobile search system. The system, which will be available on iOS devices, will allow users to search for content using natural language.
In the coming weeks, Netflix will also begin testing a vertical stream featuring short clips of its content. What do you think about this? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
