The company released the iPhone 14 Pro with a new cutout at the top of the screen that replaces the notch with smart features called Dynamic Island. What is Dynamic Island?

Apple’s latest feature on the iPhone 14 Pro, Dynamic Island, comes with many useful features. The new notch combines the new TrueDepth camera hardware, which is usually two cutouts on the screen, as a single software feature. It can show helpful information like Focus alerts, battery notifications, Face ID prompts, and Live Activities like media controls and timers.

Some developers found fun ways to interact with their apps with the iPhone 14 Pro’s Dynamic Island. For example, Christian Selig “Apollo” added interaction with Dynamic Island to his app. According to his announcement, he added a tiny cat, but he lets you choose other animals like a dog or even an axolotl.

Another game, “Hit the Island,” is like Pong’s classic game. It will help if you hit the new notch with the balls to score points. As long as you play and hit the Island, more balls appear on the screen, and they get faster.

With iOS 16.1 launching in October, you will have access to more features of iPhone 14 Pro’s Dynamic Island. It will be easier for developers to create more options for the new interactions. What do you think about Dynamic Island?
