    EA Sports UFC 5 Sees 581.5 Million Fights in One Year!

    EA Sports UFC 5 is celebrating its first anniversary. According to Electronic Arts, game hosted over 581.5 million fights in its first year.

    This week, Electronic Arts is celebrating the first anniversary of EA Sports UFC 5, its official MMA game. Since its launch, the popular game has reached impressive numbers, with 581.5 million fights, 31.5 billion strikes thrown, 5.1 million fighters created, and over 150 Alter Egos and New Fighters added.     According to EA, the UFC 5 team continues to deliver an experience that maximizes the realism of MMA for players. Partnering with the UFC and the UFC 5 community has enabled the team to add exciting new content to the game and build an ecosystem connected to significant real-world sports moments, such as including the Sphere as a playable location.

    To mark the game’s anniversary, the Electronic Arts team also shared some notable stats:

    • Recently, 30 additional fighters were added to reach a 99% similarity with the Top 10 UFC Athlete Rankings. Alter Egos from MMA’s historic segments, including past UFC champions, UFC Hall of Fame members, and iconic fighters from Strikeforce, TUF, Pride FC, and WEC, were also introduced.

    EA Sports FC 25 sets an outstanding record in the US

    • Since its launch, the game has featured over 70 new fighters. In total, players now have access to over 470 fighters (including more than 310 unique fighters and 79 Alter Egos) across various weight classes.

    Players can explore new Picks, Fight Challenges, and Unlockable Content featuring some of the sport’s biggest superstars to celebrate the latest release, UFC 308. Conor McGregor from UFC 205 will be one of the unlockable Alter Egos available in Fight Week Challenges.
