Electric Mercedes-Benz C-Class Debuts in Turkey with 700km Range

The electric Mercedes-Benz C-Class is now available in Turkey, featuring an 800km range, 360 kW of power, and a starting price of 6,360,000 TL.

Mercedes-Benz has officially expanded its luxury vehicle lineup in Turkey with the launch of its first fully electric C-Class sedan. The new C 400 4MATIC AMG model has entered the market with a starting price of 6,360,000 TL, positioning itself as a high-performance competitor in the premium electric sedan segment. Featuring an advanced 800-volt architecture, the vehicle offers rapid charging capabilities and an impressive driving range exceeding 700 kilometers. By combining state-of-the-art electric powertrain technology with the brand’s signature luxury design, Mercedes-Benz aims to set a new benchmark for sustainable performance in the Turkish automotive sector.

    • The C 400 4MATIC AMG delivers a total output of 360 kW and 800 Nm of torque.
    • The vehicle achieves a maximum range of 805 kilometers in urban driving conditions.
    • Fast-charging technology allows the battery to reach 80 percent capacity in 22 minutes.
    • The interior integrates the advanced 39.1-inch MBUX Hyperscreen for digital control.

    Dual Motors Provide High Performance

The engineering behind the new electric C-Class focuses on delivering substantial power through a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive 4MATIC system. The powertrain produces 360 kW (489 horsepower) and 800 Nm of instant torque, enabling the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4 seconds. While the vehicle is capable of higher performance, its top speed is electronically limited to 210 km/h to optimize energy efficiency.

    Battery Technology Supports Long-Distance Travel

At the core of the vehicle lies a 94 kWh usable capacity battery pack designed for long-range efficiency. Under mixed usage scenarios, the model provides a range of 709 kilometers, which extends to 805 kilometers within city environments. The vehicle maintains a competitive energy consumption rate of 15.5 kWh per 100 kilometers, highlighting the efficiency of the new electric platform.

    Charging Infrastructure Enables Rapid Recovery

The transition to an 800-volt architecture allows the model to accept charging speeds of up to 330 kW at compatible DC stations. This high-capacity charging reduces the wait time for a 10 to 80 percent charge to only 22 minutes. For short stops, a 10-minute session can provide up to 325 kilometers of range. Conversely, standard 11 kW AC charging completes a full cycle in approximately 10.5 hours.

Design and Interior Technology Offer Comfort

The vehicle measures 4,883 mm in length with a 2,962 mm wheelbase, ensuring significant legroom and passenger comfort. Cargo capacity is split between a 470-liter rear trunk and a 101-liter front “frunk” storage area. The exterior features an illuminated front grille, star-patterned LED lighting, and a coupe-like roofline designed to reduce drag.

Inside the cabin, the MBUX Hyperscreen spans the dashboard, providing a 39.1-inch digital interface powered by the new MB.OS. The system incorporates artificial intelligence to assist the driver with navigation and autonomous driving features. Optional upgrades include AIRMATIC air suspension and rear-axle steering to further enhance handling and ride quality.
