Mercedes’ highly anticipated new Mercedes CLA model has gone on sale in Turkey with the all-electric 350 4MATIC version. The first model built on the MMA platform, the vehicle stands out with its range of up to 715 km and a starting price of 4,690,000 TL.
New Mercedes CLA 350 4MATIC Price and Special Consumption Tax (SCT)
The new electric CLA 350 4MATIC is priced at 4,690,000 TL. This price can reach up to 5 million TL with options. The vehicle falls under the 75% Special Consumption Tax (SCT) bracket, and its pre-tax price is 2,217,905 TL.
Design-wise, the new CLA is 3 cm longer and wider than its predecessor. Furthermore, a 6 cm increase in wheelbase improves interior space. While trunk capacity has decreased to 405 liters, the 101-liter front trunk (frunk) makes up for this deficit.
The exterior design highlights concealed door handles and a low drag coefficient of 0.21 Cd. The illuminated Mercedes logo and star-motif grille offer a modern look.
The model’s interior undergoes a radical change. A three-screen panel called the “MBUX Superscreen” dominates the console. A 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14-inch multimedia screen come standard, while an optional 14-inch passenger screen is available.
The dual-engine CLA 350 4MATIC, now available in Turkey, produces a total of 260 kW (349 hp) and 515 Nm of torque. Its 85 kWh battery offers a driving range of up to 715 kilometers according to WLTP. The vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds.
Furthermore, thanks to its 800V electrical architecture, it supports DC fast charging up to 320 kW. This technology provides a range of 325 kilometers with a 10-minute charge under ideal conditions. The two-speed transmission, which also increases efficiency, is a key feature.
Mercedes also plans to bring a 1.5-liter version with 48V technology to Turkey in the future. A more affordable electric version with a 58 kWh LFP battery is also possible.
